Crandon International Off-Road Raceway
Funktion Design assisted the Crandon International Off-Road Raceway to design and construct a new Kitchen Concession Facility and a Multipurpose Concessions facility including the expansion of beverage sales. The kitchen concession facility was expanded by twice its existing size to provide food to over 50,000 spectators in the heart of the race track action. The spectator seating sits on top of the hill at turn one of the track, the client requested that we design the multipurpose concession stand to be placed under the grandstands, making the most use of the unused area. Both projects proved to be successful due to their locations, state of the art kitchen layout and time efficient design for staff to effectively serve the spectators.
